Employe as a Director?

Hi,

Do companies put workers as a director or a manager ?

Does this mean on opening the ebay account I have a manager to run my ebay business will they need to be the ebay account holder ? And everything like invoices etc in there name ?

Is it a bad idea putting a employee as a director?

How do these big companies run there companies or do I also need to be a director ?
