This has probably been asked way too much already but here goes,

Is anyone running a LTD/vat company under stealth accounts ?

I have 5 accounts. Am due to be vat reg but don’t want to input my vat number into all 5 accounts as that’s a obv link???

Can be done. The only snag is any previously suspended director will have the account suspended eventually.

Yes, that will cause a link. I have encountered this on both my non-stealth accounts but I had permission from eBay.

If you haven't reached the threshold on some accounts, you can stop sales until your last 12 months of sales drop off significantly.

If you're due to be VAT registered but haven't reached the limits on any accounts, you can do so and not have to notify eBay.
In that case, your registration would be to meet HMRC's requirement only.

Are you the same Yellowprint guy on eBay? If you are, then take it from me - your listings used to be so spammy!

In that case, we should be in Her Majesty's Prison.
But we aren't because eBay is a corporation devoid of the kind of regulations that govern banks.
HMRC can't be bothered if you sat at their Chief Executive's desk and spawned 100 stealth accounts and punched in the same VAT numbers.
