Paypal id verification
 

I have set up a new paypal account...something very strange is happening...I set one up in my hubbys name, no trouble what so ever...but then tried my in my sons name, and that is totally different...I think paypal are actually checking who you are...maybe by some kind of electoral register...everything is correct apart from my sons age which I lied about...obviously they are checking who you are...as I said may be electoral register, or even credit scoring...but something very fishy is going on....

That is the message i am getting, everytime they check the info...evrything is correct apart from my sons date of birth.

I think I will be able to help you with this in a couple of days. This issue has been happening for about 2 weeks to the best of my knowledge.

As soon as I have a way that works consistantly I will let you know.

Thats great news...personally I think they are like the KGB...lol...also in my anger I closed the account, and forgot to remove the bank account and card...oh well never mind...lol...but that would be great....you guys are so helpfull on here...TIA

Two points: NEVER get angry with paypal GET EVEN ;) Never close an account in haste.

As Neo said, there's a problem. It is being looked at & checked. If possible don't make any accounts for the time being.

OK...thanks for that...will just have to try and use hubbys for time being...once again guys...your brill at all this...I just dont have a clue...lol...

i am having the same problem and its very frustrating.
I have waited about 3 weeks to do it on one account, still the same error message.
And yesterday i tired on a newer account and same for that account.

same here to, been trying for over a month now still no joy

has anyone actually called them?? to get definitive answer?
