How to confirm a Paypal credit/debit card

I simply need to confirm a credit/debit card.
What do I use?

VCC?

Yes with a vcc you can verify your paypal account.
From my exp, it will charge you 1,5euros in eu and send you a 4 digit code, which you'll have to put in paypal. once you verify it, the charge will be refunded.

The thing is...
I've done it before a few times.
I just can't remember how I did it!!

The card: does an address have to be given with it?

Card address has to match the PayPal account address. The name does not.
So you may temporarily change the address of your VCC solution to match your PayPal.

Please note that this is not the case for all VCC solutions. I've advised based on the fact that we do not know what solution you're using and to keep you from running into errors should you have one that requires the address to match.


To add a VCC, go to this page:
Fill in the card details, choose the card type and select your billing address.


After adding your card, go to this page:
Click on the card, under it, and you should see a “confirm your card” button. Click on it and follow the instructions.
Go to your VCC portal to get your 4 digit verification code then enter it here on PayPal.

I didn't need in the end
All I needed was to add an account

It's still saying the card registered needs to be confirmed
Am I OK to leave like this?
I've done this for other accounts and haven't had problems

If you added your bank account, you might still have to add a card.
You may use the text above to add a card. You can add your own bank account but don't add your bank card if this is a stealth account. Use a VCC instead.
