How come UK ebay / PayPal accounts are still for sale?
 

Hi I was wondering how sellers on this forum are still selling UK ebay and paypal accounts when as far as I understand it all new listings are blocked until you register for managed payments? Are they selling accounts that can't be used until managed payments is setup (which would make them extremely difficult to use) or are their accounts not yet blocked from creating new listings which is why they are still being sold?

Just curious as I am interested in making a purchase.

You aren't immediately forced to sign up yet as far as i'm aware ? until it's fully implemented your will see them for sale.

Then it will simply move to just sales of ebay accounts or paypal accounts on their own.

Ok that makes sense thanks hopefully it will give the wizards that run this forum a chance to figure out how to proceed with stealth managed payments.

Doesn't matter what i think, but i'm sure someone will figure something out over the next few years.

I don't think stealth will be the way it is now where you can open 20 accounts, attach 20 bank accounts and sell anonymously.

No MP for personal accounts and if you know how to work it then for now you won't get requested for MP

Not at the moment but this is about going forwards, eventually all ebay accounts globally will be on Managed Payments.

I have a personal account and have to sign up by the end of the year apparently.
