EB MC113 received But Why ???
 

Recently received MC113, trying to pin point what did I do wrong so will not do it again.

EB account was about 37 days, I have been listing low risk items slowly,
A day before suspension listed 3 separate items (Hershey's chocolate bar) 3 different flavour of them. Seems EB did not like the chocolate but then eaten my account & chocolate :heh::heh::heh::tears::tears::tears:

Is the suspension due to
1. listing a branded chocolate bar
2. listing many in a day (at once)

Or could be other reasons

MC113’s left right and centre at the moment. Everything I do ends up with one after first listing.

i usually get MC113 after i add my main paypal to a stealth eBay.

Sometimes these are just manual reviews. eBay seem to suspend at any point now.

Funnily enough i am in a similar situation, kinda.
One of my accounts is around 2 weeks old, have listed 5-6 generic items on there and it's all good. However, today i listed my actual item that i intend to sell and after one sale, 2 hours later i have been suspended.
So i can go on livechat and expect them to say they won't be reinstating which is normal for Ebay UK these days, however i was asked for I.D/Address verification for a possible chance of reinstatemnet once reviewed by security team and obviously i am aware they may just be asking this to confirm I.D and boot me off ebay for good, even though it's a stealh. Would like to hear if you also get asked for this, go on livechat and try.
I genuinely think Ebay UK is the most strict ebay website currently, any small thing and you get banned straight away. If you don't have an aged high feedback account, forget about it. I wouldn't bother trying to do any real selling until you have atleast 20-30 feedback, that's my personal assumption, anything less and they won't be giving you a second chance, it will be a first time permanent ban. I've seen accounts with just 100-150 feedback selling Vero items and whatever the **** they really want and nothing happens to thme regardless of reporting or anything, ebay gives them a pass for the simple fact they're aged and have high feedback. Feedback is so so important now in my opinion, it's crucial if you want to do any real sales you have to build feedback first.
The state of Ebay UK is really sad to think about.

This MC113 is crazy. Before you can just pass this easily by sending ID and Proof of address, now it's permanent suspension. smh

Similar to me. Opened an eBay stealth account a couple of weeks ago but as soon as I added PayPal got permanent suspension MC113 the same day. Didn't even get a chance to list anything.

Are those really freshly created accounts? Yea same with me. I can't figure out what triggering the issue. :tears:

Yes, it is a fresh account. First opened eBay account as I usually do about 2 weeks ago then a week later opened PayPal account then a few days later when I tried to list the first item have been forced to sign up for direct debit with PayPal and the same day have received suspension MC113.

The previous account got a bit longer life managed to do a few sales and MC113 again. Not sure where I went wrong. :noidea:

i had it happen to an account twice on legit details over the last few weeks on business account. first time i managed to get through to someone via a callback and was told itd wasd due to the paypal not being linked to the account. it got reinstated only for a week later to be banned again.didnt get a proper answer of the reps this time just the usual response all suspensions are final etc

Suspensions happen by the system. eBay system is so strong even if the accts are reinstated. If the system doesn’t like it. The accts gets suspended again

I have found a way around MC113 ! instead of connecting your paypal with a stealth account connect your credit card or debit card as a payment method, been almost 4 weeks almost selling all my inventory and no mc113 ! I think eBay don't like paypal any more lol ! good luck

YH i get that tbh. its just you have to try and piece where you went wrong . i think in my case the address wasn't one that was verifiable on electoral role so plan to try again with one that is

I've created 10 new accounts in the past few weeks, and also bought a few from a seller on here. So far two of the accounts I created have already gone down, one to MC113 and the other to a paypal suspension. Something has definitely changed this year, and Ebay UK are a lot stricter.

Yeah but I burn through a lot of accounts and its only been since mid january that I have noticed any difference. I used to make 1K/10K limit accounts every time too, but now they are all 10/750! I would love to know what has been changed to I can adapt to it but it could be anything

Like browser fingerprint? Surely by using separate portable browsers for each account it would avoid any issues? Or am I think of something different?

permanent suspension is robotic to verify your identiy call them and you can reinstate the account i did it before 2 days

I’m having issues with MC113 and it’s not being caused by browser fingerprint. I changed to a brand new device, new IP on a new mobile data contract, created an eBay business account and still got suspended 24-48 hours after first listing.

Occasionally they re-instate via live chat but then suspend again the next time you list an item.

I’ve made many accounts over the years and never had this level of issue.

I’m stumped with it. I’ve messaged a few members on here but no-one wants to help. Bah !

hmm thats strange, I presume you also used full stealth details, and a fresh SIM card too? Also did you use new pictures and content for your ad?

Also, do you mind if I ask what your first listing was? Always start with an auction (for some reason it draws less attention) and I usually sell something ultra safe, like unbranded black permanent markers on a 3 day auctions starting at 60 pence. I usually do this 3 or 4 times in a row, over the course of a few weeks before I would even consider a fixed price listing.

Same issue here, got MC113 after 24 hours of first auction listing.. zero risk, low value items.. :)

Any updates on this? It’s becoming very difficult to get new accounts off the ground.
