How to use Ebay stealth account as a normal user?
 

So I wanted to create a new stealth account but mainly for myself and using it to buy things. I do have a few things that I want to sell which total a value of around £1000. So I have a few questions about how to make this Ebay stealth account last:

1) I was wondering, when creating my stealth account, I need to create a new address so it's not linked to my old account, however when I'm buying things, I need it to come to my home address (Which is linked to my banned account), so isit okay to change the destination address during the checkout to my normal home address? If not, is there a way around this?

2) I desperately need to sell some stuff, 1 item is around £500, the others are around £100-£300. How should I go about selling these? (I.e. should I wait a week, should I only sell one of them etc?)

I'm a brand new user to this forum so apologies if I've done anything wrong, but any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Welcome to the forum first of all.

1. Personally I would do guest checkout if you can with the seller to buy the product you want. This would avoid linking your banned address onto your new stealth you would like to manage.

2. Selling your items for around the price of £500 is quite deadly. Even IF you get past selling it on ebay, your paypal would be limited when you receive that kind of payment.

Best option is to build your account slowly but since you are desperate then i'd suggest looking at another platform or selling it locally.

To build it up though, wouldn't I need positive feedback and to make it look like a normal account (which ironically it will be). I'm just concerned with what to do for the address situation.

Do you think If I put a different address and then asked the buyer to send it to my address through PM, would that tip Ebay off or would that be okay do you think?

How I solved the first issue was to use Argos click on collect instead of shipping to your address. Argos never asks for user ID so you can use your stealth alias, even if they do you can just think of excuse or come back later.
