PayPal reserve I need help??
 

Hiya everyone,

I'm new here.

So my problem is I have sold an item on eBay. 6/03/21
eBay are 100% happy. And lifted their hold after 24hrs. All documents
I.d etc uploaded.

Then went on PayPal hold for 72hrs expected....
After 72hrs, another 72hrs hold was put in place. That soon went by.

Called again they put it on hold again for 72hrs pending review.
After this period I was told they were restricting my account and my
Money would be held for 180 days and reviewed every 30days.

The money was showing in my available account as pending.

Today I received a message saying it was available for withdrawal,
As you do, I signed in to Paypal to find it is now show as money on hold.
So I called them to find what was happening to then be told the money is
Now in reserve. The advise stated he did not understand what was going
On or why it is in reserve as I am not classed as a business and it is sitting
With back office.

I am totally confused and don't know what is going on.
Any advice would be great right now.

Might be worth to try a withdrawal in 2-3 days otherwise the account is in 180 days suspension (waiting for pp to update to reflect that)

Did you receive the 180 day suspension roughly 30 days ago?
And you already received an email saying you can withdraw.

Hmm it's a bit strange. I also have the 180 day suspension,
After 90 days I received the email saying I can withdraw.
The balance is showing, it let me withdraw small amounts,
But now when I try to withdraw it says "there is an issue with your account".
I am going to wait 72 hours and then try to see if it works.

That 90 days message doesn't seem so "trusting" to mean an actual release of funds...
