How to switch from stealth account to real account (due to MP)
 

Due to ebay managed payment restrictions I have no longer able to revise my listings and as a result most are out out stock and my sales are down 70%

I was advised that I might as well try to change my account to my real name and address and register for managed payment. I don't think I was even banned from ebay (only paypal) and I have changed address since anyway so it might work.

Should I

1) Change account details to my real details, register for managed payments and continue to sell my currently listed items through paypal

2) Remove all my active listings, remove my paypal account, and change all my account details to my real details then register for managed payments with no selling until I am approved for managed payments.

3) Simply start again with a brand new account (this isn't ideal as my current account is aged about 5 years and there would be a lot of hassle and lost sales starting again from scratch.

Your advise is appreciated

If you don't mind starting again, then before you do, take a risk trying to keep this one. If it works, saves the long effort you spent building this one up. I had to start from scratch as all my stealth ones failed the ID check with managed payments they did at a later date but your account is verified so may pass. I got back to ebay with a new genuine account with my actual details all good and today managed a new stealth account.

I reckon keep listings and change the information for a a day / 2 and then remove paypal and listings. Then simply apply and provide the banking details that match the name etc. Then at least it wont show you changed details the same time you applied for MP. Or if you can change before a bit beforehand it can be better for you too.

Just, as it is your actual bank you will have your genuine information on ebay going forward unless you start a fresh stealth but it will be 0 feedback.
