High fees, MP with it (!) 3 working days payouts, FULL Control of r listings sales.
I've had enough. - no worth my nerve anymore.

Calm down guys, ebay MP does allow daily payouts. Also if you have a decent bank you get the funds the same day. And as for the fees, I think it's cheaper then Paypal.

No way it's cheaper than Paypal but it's not like they are giving us any alternatives. If everyone is paying more though the market will slowly adjust. It's good to see sellers give up like this since it means less competition moving forward. :)

In the US what I sell on Monday I get paid on Wednesday, always that time lag. The good thing about MP over. PayPal is that their dispute time is less, item not received credit card claim is settled in a couple of days, if a buyer says the item is not as described and puts a hold on their credit card, I just upload an image of the listing page as proof, MP gives the claimant a chance to send the order back and again the issue is sorted out in a couple of weeks. Much better than PayPal, however I miss getting my money instantly on a weekend which means if I have a good weekend sales then I do not get paid until Wednesday in my bank. Also I do not miss PayPal’s flakey attitude when you do good sales and they suspend your account.

I've noticed that the fees are higher, each one is different based on what form of payment the customer uses. That said, I've noticed that competition is nowhere near as much these days as sellers went away by the thousands. Despite the higher fees, I have been able to increase prices for my merchandise, and my net margins have increased 3.1% from this same time last year (even with higher MP fees, postage and material costs). Overall I'm satisfied and think MP is a good thing. Daily payouts and a larger customer base (not everyone had or wanted a PayPal account, now they can pay by debit, credit, apple pay and so much more) makes the move to MP a great idea by EBay. Probably the first good idea they've had in decades.
As for the people hurt by MP rollover (mostly the scammers that create accounts by the dozens just to scam and burn 'em), they're gone for good. Another positive!

I have a Walmart sellers account and only pay 8% sellers fees on my product.

The benefit to me is

Less intrusion than other selling platforms if you are doing your job right.

No foreign sellers.

You can make more money here than on eBay with the same product.

The disadvantages are

2 week payout

The listing system is very flaky until you get to know it and work around its idiosyncrasies

am agree to most above. Still how come they can justify the higher fees for being "below seller standards" so u payan EXTRA 6-8% for your listings to be not even visible sometimes somehow..Nevermind, good luck to everyone who still onboard with eBay����

They do this so you'll either have to improve your service to remain above standard (ship on time, take care of returns, etc) or if you can't, just go away. Nobody can compete if they are paying 6%-8% more in fees than responsible sellers. So, EBay wants sellers to become responsible (which keeps buyers happy and coming back) or fly the coop.

Where is the UK sellers migrating too? There doesn't seem much in the way of alternatives

Alternatives in the UK are Onbuy.com and Ebid.net. Ebid have awesome visibility in Google Shopping and they accept Paypal so sellers have quick access to their funds which is a great bonus.
Ebids Ebay to Ebid importer works well for transporting all your listings over.

Bring back the "Loot Newspaper" those were the days walking around with 4 mobiles pretending not to be a trader so you could get free adverts ..Made tons of money and all cash ..Some clever person on here should start a selling newspaper or not clever person

on various ebay seller forums (non stealth) im seeing the same sentiment, no one feels comfortable providing ebay with their personal details, afraid of data breaches (rightfully so). I wouldnt be surprised if ebay reverses its course if sales are greatly affected.

Unpopular opinion but ebays trying to be amazon

What always gave ebay the edge was the fact it was a bit of a Wild West compared to its competitor

With that out of the window ebays just going to become a stale dead place soon
