Funds / payouts held for 5 days ?
 

Anybody in the UK facing this hurdle ?

Got 5k locked in. Accounts under review, they're taking a closer look. 5 days I have to wait !

All I have found is this in the T&S:

We reserve the right to manage the risks associated with providing you the Payment Services, by placing restrictions on your access to your funds when deemed necessary, as described in further detail below.

You agree that we may place holds on your funds or instruct a payment service provider to hold your funds, prior to disbursement. Each hold may be based on factors including selling history, seller performance, returns, chargebacks, riskiness of the listing category, transaction value, the ability to make direct debits from your Linked Financial Account, or the filing of eBay Buyer Protection Program claims. We also may cancel or freeze the settlement of your proceeds as necessary for fraud, risk management, or compliance purposes. In these situations, we will notify you of our decisions through the eBay Message Center and/or by email.

When your eBay account is closed, we may retain an amount that we reasonably believe may be necessary to pay for any refunds, reimbursements, or other payments associated with returns, Disputes, or other post-transaction activities. Unless otherwise required by law, we will settle any unused retained amounts to your Linked Financial Account within 180 days of your eBay account closure.

Your bank’s holds and settlement procedures may at times cause delays in the settlement of funds to your Linked Financial Account, and we do not have control over these delays.

Over what period of time did you accumulate £5k?

It's impossible to know whether it's triggered by account activity (sales volume, item type, etc) or whether it's a link to your suspended info.

Sounds like it's in a queue for a manual review. If it was automated, it wouldn't take 5 days. If isn't due to a link to suspended account info, fingers crossed they don't make the link during the review.

How many accounts are you running with the same real info?

Sudden spike in sales over the weekend.

It was quiet for a week or two on this account.

I have a handful of accounts with the same account owner details ( my real info ).

I've spoken to CS numerous time even using the same IP I was originally banned on and everything was OK.

I will be shocked if they ban me at this stage. Making them so much in fees across all of my accounts !

I should add it says "up to" 5 days for the review so i'm hoping it's done by tomorrow.

Ok just to update, the verification appears to be complete. No email received stating that everything is OK. The red message in the payments tab has just dissapeared and it says my next scheduled payout is now tomorrow.

So it took less than 18 hours from that initial email.

Feel relieved but would have preferred an email to confirm it all rather than silence.

glad to hear it was eventually solved but i have experienced similar issues with less volume £££ transactions dissappeared and so on. Not happy. Ebay SHOULD NOT IMPLEMENT anything that is NOT ready to use. Well, saying that - the whole platform itself needs LOTS ofvwork to be done compare to others.

Payout has been initiated today but no email received to say it's been initiated in eBay messages like usual. I can just see that it's been done in the payments tab / statement

The site is full of glitches !

most people receive their payments but it triggers a review of the account , similar to that of paypal so that some people who are considered high risk get a restriction which pretty much the same as a permanent limitation on paypal

I was getting regular daily payments under the MP system, until it stopped. Thankfully, I only have a few hundred tied up whilst they manually review my account.
