Is it still possible to create Ebay + have PP for payment?
 

Last month in May I made several eBay accounts and was able to have PayPal as an option to be paid into for my listings. I had to contact eBay and tell them I only want PayPal and not Managed Payments and they were able to do this for me. But it was short lived as on July 2nd all the accounts are forced into MP.


So today I created a new eBay and PP account and then contacted eBay and they told me its not possible to be paid via PayPal anymore.
Is this true? Has anyone had any success this month being paid via PP? I will contact them again tomorrow and maybe someone else can help me, but this sucks!!!

I guess my next step is to try and find the work around MP, but its gonna be difficult. I hope its not the end game for me as business has been flowing.

Yes.... No more paypal as a majority rule.

Yes doesnt even show up as an option anymore, instant MP when signing up

you have to find other sites which will allow you to accept Paypal.

You mean other eBay sites such as the Philipines eBay?
but then you would need a Philipines PayPal and bank account right + VPN?

Philippines eBay can still use PayPal to receive payments. You do not need a Philippines bank accounts, only VCC is fine. You don't have to use VPN, but i recommend you to use residential IP proxy for that for best results.

Would you need a philippine phone number too, I guess? And where to find philippines VCC?

Definitely take rsot's advice.

Ignore any PMs you receive offering either VCCs, phone numbers or accounts for sale. You will end up being scammed.

you can actually use any phone number for ebay. Ebay allowed you to do that.
Almost any Paypal VCCs work for philippine paypal, but i am using one issued by the banks here.

Is MP going to be rolled out in PL, if so is there a rough idea of when?
