I have a account in a different name, is it okay to change it to my own name ?
 

I have been happily using one of my many UK accounts for a long time, it is a friends old account, but as we all know, managed payment is now a bit of a hurdle to jump through.

I am a UK citizen, so no issues with bank details, phone numbers etc.

Could I just change the name and address on the eBay account to my own details, then perhaps one month later add managed payment.

does managed payment check my address and name match, if I let them log into my bank account for the verification?

Real shame to lose the account, great feedback and plenty of seller limit every month, it is a private / individual account.

I just changed one of my Ebay accounts to my mother's name,it went fine
