Is this the end for stealth accounts?

I feel like ebays move to control the payments from paypal wasn't just so they control both ends but so they can tighten up on stealth accounts.

PP was so damn easy to fool!

I've heard ebay uses a 3rd party which reads the ID's unique code IE passport number or driver number and checks it against a database?

If so it means our creative docs are doomed!

My real ID is perm banned from ebay and will never be lifted and my business is ebay reliant!

was it 3000 in total? personal usually gets verified somewhat delayed , just change to your real name and you should be good to go. ebay won't mind if you were suspended in the past not being on MP

It's not OK to change every detail...just the ones that will not link you to your old suspended account.
This includes name (ebay doesn't link names, otherwise every Tom, Dick and Harry would be suspended).
Also, SSN and DOB as EBay never had this information (PayPal did)
These are the details MP needs, your real name with matching SSN and DOB.
Everything else should be different (just like stealth), including address, IP, browser, user account, email, phone number, etc. It's these details that ebay has on file from your suspended accounts and it's what they can use to link your accounts.

it is exactly right , everybody suspended before MP can go on MP with their suspended details. of course if you get suspended on MP later this will not work anymore

I'm still confused about which adress to put. Couldn't be real (google maps) but one you've never lived in. Are you sure they know / check if you have lived at that address? Is it so important ...?

We don't use SSN in the UK. So how would they match name and DOB without same/real address? If doing a credit check they use name, DOB and address to find you.

I agree with you, it can't be possible, people is moving constantly, e.g.: students ...

So in that case which is the solution?, change the adress on file with your bank to the stealth one? ... I would not mind because all the postal correspondence is electronic and you could always change the adress in the bank again (But for a week, when you know the credit card is going to expire to receive the new one, as I have read that eBay do review accounts periodically, which I don't neither know if it's completely accurate ...)

On subject of banning & linking. I made a error and signed in once with a new account into a user account of one of my est accounts. As it was just the once have them accounts been linked now? Or my understanding is they need more solid links then a one time sign in on same user account ??

Shouid I make a new user account for my est account again or has the damage been done ??
