eBay MP is there a pattern for ID requests
 
Hi everyone,

When a new eBay uk account is created is the ID request for MP instant every time or is it based on hitting a sales £ amount?

For uk accs as it seems if you put any details that can not be verified, they will instantly ask for id.

Thanks - is date of birth important for that verification or is it just so long as the full name and address are real ?

I think most important is name and address combo. Not sure bout bank acc number.

personal accounts may get verification delayed but it does not really matter because credit check will be inevitable and later it may become even worse because frozen funds will be at risk as well

Are EBay keeping payments indefinitely for failing ID verification or releasing them after 60/72 days (timescales mentioned in other threads) ?

I think they release money if account is locked due reasons different from inability to verify ID.
