Idea to get round MP...
 

Register a business in XYZ name.
(XYZ is your best mate.)
Get a business account for XYZ.
Register on ebay and go through MP registration.
Sell for a short time and make sure payments are coming through.
Now... get your name added to the business bank account.
You take over the company. You remove XYZ from the company name.
Then remove XYZ from the bank account name as well.

Will this work?

It would probably raise some red flags since one of eBay's rules is that sellers are not allowed to transfer accounts from one party to another. It's too soon to answer definitively.

if it is a limited company there is no transfer of ownership of the ebay account , just change of beneficiaries

Yes... it will work but why not just make the business in your own name and cut out the run around?

I've thought about it this way too to get back on Ebay.

Set-up new accounts under 'XYZ'
1. XYZ E B and
2. XYZ MP
3. XYZ LLC
4. XYZ Bank

After it passes the checks and has aged, you can either add banned individual to LLC and Bank or transfer complete ownership. This way, XYZ doesn't have to worry about filing taxes on the 1099.

E B Info will stay the same, correct? For them the E B is still under XYZ.
Would E B ever require verifying LLC documents in the future?
