Any idea on how to get a negative feedback removed ?
 

A buyer abused returns due to buyers remorse.

But the idiot left me negative feedback even though I offer a no quibble money back guarantee they just have to open a return !

He's making false claims because when I received the item back it's still in mint condition as I sent it so clearly buyers remorse.

I've called him out and been professional.

Contacted ebay they don't care and don't want to remove the feedback.

Seller help in the top right corner of seller hub. Then click "request to remove feedback." If you've refunded him and you offer free returns on the listing you have a good chance of getting it removed that way. They've even updated their system to where you can check the status of your removal request after sending, and they say requests will all be responded to within 8hrs now.

I've had one of the 3 negatives I've used this system on removed.

Do you have such little feedback that a negative is affecting you? Then just move on...

Buyers don't read descriptions, much less feedback!

I wonder if the UK is as helpful as the US in this instance? Sometimes even the layouts are different for other countries...

This is my most active time of day here because I'm procrastinating getting started filling orders. :lol:

I don't know if it's exactly the same but probably since we all have seller hub now. It's not a perfect system but it works a lot better than the old system where eBay would never tell you what they decided to do.

Also to add onto the bit about buyers checking feedback, getting a neg also seems to automatically demote you in search results a good bit, temporarily at least.

I'd like to think that it SHOULD lower you in search results, but I've never really noticed an effect from one. Maybe it's so minor that it goes unnoticed, if just 1 here and there. Who knows!

Stress abuse feedback contact until you get removed. It's what the paid service do. Don't waste money

Well things have turned around today. I managed to get the buyer suspended !

He forgot to include an item, it wasn't worth a lot and I have plenty of replacements, regardless he didn't send it back with the item so I just told ebays trust & safety the truth but exaggerated the cost of the missing item. They removed the neg and gave him the boot. Result !

And those that say negatives don't mean anything ... they most certainly do when you sell high value items.

I agree with this.
Regardless whether it's a high or low value, a feedback is a feedback.

I do, and have never really NOTICED the effect. It might be there, but it must be minor. Unless you get a ton of negatives...

Maybe it's the UK? No clue...
