receiving limit, you will need a verification call or letter with code to lift it...........

casual92king 11-05-2009 04:27 AM

yes i received the four digit verification call and it is all done, but still the receiving limit is there... all information hey an has been required too! so confused right now.. confirming and linking my card is the only thing i have not done.. do you think this will lift the limit? and will paypal be able to finding my info if i link and confirm it? thanks

In order to fully verify your Paypal account, and to remove the £1700 limit you will 100% need to link your credit card. No other way I'm afraid...

I recommend using Entropay or another pre-paid credit card if you want to stay completely anonymous.:spy:

You don't need to verify card.

Long as you have added and verified your bank account and confirmed location by phone (and added business info if relevant) than you should be set to go.

Are there any steps left in the lift your limits section of your paypal account area?

If not then it is likely just the glitch that is widely commented upon on this site.

You will get asked to provide further ID anyway when you approach £1700 of sales (for EU anti-money laundering requirements) so I wouldn't worry about it.

i have filled in all of the info they have required.. however,it does say next to - confirm your info - we were unable to confirm the info you provided ... but it has been ticked off as though it is completed just like the others.. i have gone half way through the process of confirming and linking my card but it says i need to check my bank account for the two small deposits they will put in.. but i have had two small deposits before and i have used them to verify my bank... do they mean i need to type in the same deposits or are they going to put another two deposits in? thanks

That's fine re your info - long as it is ticked (usually says underneath confirmed by post/phone).

And yes it will be seperate deposits for the card - I never bothered verifying my cards so don't know what the process is these days BUT it used to be that they debited your credit/debit card for £1 and there would be a code (expuse) number on the transaction (you need to check your statement with whoever provides your card to get this). You then entered this into Paypal and the £1 was credited to your account.
