Selling Business Account?
 

Hello,

My original PayPal account was limited in 2011.

I created a PayPal Business Account in 2015 using my same name (+ middle name), and same address.

Only thing stealth would be a different (fresh and dedicated) IP address that I always login with. Everything else is the same as my previously limited personal account (with my middle name added).

The PayPal has been used with a Shopify store, with 1,000+ transactions every month for the last 6 years. Shopify store sells shaving products.

I am now considering selling the business, with PayPal Business Account.

One thing is that many of the customers are subscribers, so to lose the PayPal account would mean losing a lot of the current revenue.

I know this forum will naturally err on the side of caution, but what are the chances that this will become an issue? If I am to sell this Business Account and transfer the ownership.

Will this likely lead to my Business Account being linked to my formerly limited personal account? Account has never had any issues.

Well technically speaking you should be able to sell the acct as a part of the business.
In reality it might not be so simple.
Maybe contact paypal and ask them if and how that sort of a process would work. No need to call from your acct - they dont need to know anything about it.

So it comes down to if you want to change the details on the PP itself when its sold

That maybe the tricky part

If its not been limited yet, which its possible it maybe, its unlikely IMO
