Any more UK prepaid cards (VISA/Mastercard) from supermarkets?

Do they still have UK prepaid gift cards (VISA/Mastercard) sold at supermarkets?

Say £20 or so

I'm not interested in virtual prepaid debit gift cards which I know are widely available

Asda or tesco can't remember which. Did as of November. I've not looked since but will be needing some my self soon too

My local ASDA was selling £50 Mastercard gift cards last week. Morrisons and Tescos don't sell them anymore (at least not around here).

I just purchased a Vanilla Mastercard Gift card £25 from a Sainsburys superstore.

They have it in £25/£50/£100 denominations.
Fee £2.95 for the £25 card

I found the registration procedure to buy a virtual prepaid card too much of a hassle.
Plus you need a debit/credit to buy one in the first place

Also saw Amazon gift cards of various denominations

Recently these Vanilla cards seem to have stopped working with Paypal. Has anybody else experienced this? Thanks

Yep, certain VCCs aren't compatible or won't allow you to send money via them. PayPal can detect this from the first 6 digits (the BIN). Each bank has it's own unique starting digits and prepaids won't be the same as a normal high street bank.

I'm assuming due to this, they don't believe it's a "genuine or real customer".
I tried to make payments before with various VCCs and had issues, which is a shame.

Do these cards work to pay ebay fees?

Don't think Amazon gift cards can pay AZ fees - purchases only? I haven't tried

I know UK has Vanilla's at Tescos, got a £100 one from there before. This was a year ago, but I doubt they'll have removed them.

For more common VCCs however, I'd use online prepaid ones, they should still work.
