Whats up with eBay UK these days
 

Sales have been flat over the last 3-5 months. Not only that, but alot of my listings have 0 Views. One of my listing has 0 views and 1 watcher. ??

In the past when I have listed an item, after about 48-72 hours I would always have at least 10-50 views. Now after 1-2 weeks its 0 views

eBay is always screwing around with their site. No wonder they are slowly going down hill. Full of bugs

Not just UK.

I never look at views and watcher myself since it's inaccurate at times.

But you said sales is low for 1/2 year right? I'm assuming your items are still popular, you have the right prices compared to competitors etc?

I think it's worth editing your listings to try and see if it makes a difference in a week.

I think both buyers & sellers just feel worn out.

Look back over the last two years. It has taken a deep toll on many.

Well traffic is still at 800 million sessions a month. Maybe delete and relist.

Yes, I do that alot, end listing, then sell similar, seems to help sometimes.

I sell clothing, my prices are at or below my competitors.

I understand that people might be holding on to their money more these days, but my prices are cheap really for what you get.

I can tell you right now that sales used to be 100x better just 1 year ago.

I blame ebay, ever since they updated their site, things have slowed right down, this happened before when they updated their site. Things got really slow for a few months then slowly picked up, everytime like clockwork when they update the site

Now possible as views is for the last 30 days and watchers is a lifetime figure.

Because ebay is not as powerful as it used to be 10-15 years ago or more, and the inflation which is destroying people savings and purchasing power, the price of gas and oil which is up due to the sanctions, therefore people do have the same amount of cash as they had before to spend.

yes, but people can looking but not buy, due to the central banks destroying the purchasing power of money..... look up Wiemar Republic. haha I sound like a pessimist =}
