eBay.co.uk online banks?

Hello,
does anybody knows which online banks eBay accepts? I was using Wise, Revolut, Pockit, N26, but they are not accepted by eBay anymore.

Personally I would stick to main banks - HSBC, Nationwide etc - they can still be opened online easily enough

You can use revolut to pay for eBay fees and print postage labels but like James said for payouts use high street banks savings accounts. NatWest, Barclays and bank of Scotland no goers but all the rest should be fine.

Dont use HSBC they don't like you using current or saver accounts for business use. I recently was asked to open a business bank account with them because my Adyen deposits from ebay flagged me up on their system. They didn't know what Adyen was, I had to explain as well plenty of other nosey questions.

HSBC sounds like Capital One for USA. . . a total pain.

Too much money, too fast will flag it up regardless off the account type.

I had a really good week on this ebay account and instead of ebay putting my account on review, it was HSBC instead ! been given 2 months to take account off ebay and use a different account, ideally a HSBC business bank account which they have asked me to apply for.

HSBC would be about top of the line for trying to screw the customer.

They gave me a bad time because I had made an error with the spelling……
took 3 weeks to get my funds off their hands. Never again

Hello to every one,

What about non-residence in the UK?
We are not allowed to have a high street bank account.
For example, my company is in the UK, but I'm again limited with the banks.

So any suggestion that we can link our bank account from any fintech bank?

That would be a big fat NO. Non-residents are not currently being allowed high street banks, nor online banks such as Monzo, Starling etc etc.

Non-residents easily get an e-money management institutions bank account, such as revolut wise payoneer etc.

Although, some banks facilitate incorporation to companies that are registered in the UK and have a resident director holding at least 51% shares.

This has been my main issue with eBay, those ****ers (excuse my french) put my money on hold in December last year, letting me sell as usual ( I think I actually sold more than I anticipated in that month) demanding a high street bank for payouts, after having hundreds very relevant of payouts, then after a month or so they took a step back and started to release my money in a 30 day span. Needless to say, I do not have money laying around to keep selling a full month :deadhorse:

tide bank nneed Limited Companies and LLPs need all Persons of Significant Control (PSCs) to be a UK resident and natural persons (i.e. no corporate shareholders).

Yes that is the case for every bank, and getting a UK residential address is not expensive

We've has this conversation before, as the poster(s) above has said you need to be a UK resident, you cannot fudge this with an accommodation address or a mail forwarding service. If you could then you'd simply use the registered office address service that most Limited Company formation services offer.

Go on the main Amazon forums and check out the countless pakistani and India sellers who've tried this route, it doesn't work. In the unlikely event it did work you are certainly committing fraud which wont go down well with banks and Companies House and, on the assumption they're not going to come clean with HMRC and declare themselves as NETP's and voluntarily register for mandatory VAT, then tax evasion too.

That all said, you can be on overseas national and legitimately create a Limited Company and trade on all the selling platforms, just don't think lying to the relevant authorities and financial bodies etc is plain sailing.
