Hi all

I purchased a stealth UK managed payment account on here about 10 months ago and all was working well until I got this:-

Action required: Verify your information to continue selling

Driving licence
Passport
Government issued ID card
You will need this info to meet eBay's regulatory requirements for selling. Please upload your document by <Date> to release your held payouts.

My questions are:-

1) When the seller supplied me with this account he gave me a "creative doc" should I simply upload this doc and hope for this best?

2) The deadline they have given me to upload this information is a few months away. In the meantime I still seem to be getting payouts.

Is it worth delaying the document upload until near the deadline? That way if the docs are denied and my account is shut down at least I've had an extra few months out of it that I wouldn't have had if I uploaded the doc straight away.

just change it to your real name and send in ID otherwise you will be restricted , if you upload stealth ID you will be suspended

I'm confused tho. It sounds like you're saying operating stealth is impossible in which case why are sellers here offering stealth accounts?

What makes you so sure that stealth ID won't work?

I'd prefer not to use my real ID as I need to use that for a different account.

If I use my real ID on 2 different accounts I will be linked right?

you can use your real ID on multiple accounts

sending in stealth ID = 100% probability of suspension

Emm not true but still.

If you can change it over to your real details that is always the easiest thing to do

It is OK to use your own ID across many accounts at the moment. If that will always be fine is uncertain but it does work pretty smoothly right now

Is it dumb of me to buy a stealth account and then change it to my real details? Wouldn't I be better off simply not buying stealth and using my real details from the start?

You can do that but you usually end up with orwtty low limited and again there is the linking issue. All accounts made from the start with the same details get linked. Ideally need to be a bit smart about it just to prevent future problems but using all sorts of variations

I'm having the same issue.

I dont have a creative ID however. The only problem is I sell VERO products so I'm very reluctant to use my real details.

Is there any real alternative for me at this stage?

with your real details the only alternative would be to use another account for VERO and use this account for less risky items on your real ID

So if we buy a stealth account from here, the id that the seller provide,
never passes the ebay id verification check?

That's exactly what I want to know. What percentage success rate (if any) does seller provided ID have vs real ID?

This is something you'll need to ask the seller and get a clear answer from them.

it is not even allowed here to provide any documents that is why you would not find any advert by anyone who do this

All the sellers provide documents for verification or for any
other problem

IMO the documents provided with purchased stealth accounts since the inception of Managed Payments are merely to offer some kind of documentary lip service.

With the new MP system managed by Adyen they're simply not going to work. If they do it would be a very rare event indeed.

They need to match the bank account and that, one would assume, is legitimate and nothing remotely to do with the account purchased.

So as stated above, their ebay accounts only work until ebay requests
documents. After that you can only change the personal info to real
information and get verified. So everyone in here is purchasing accounts that could be suspended anytime soon after their first sale,and will get for sure suspended when you hit 600-1000 pound of sales

False. i have stealth accounts doing £5k a month not been asked for documents. Been over year now. The accounts i did get ask for docs. The docs were accepted but they didn't accept a online bank i use. Switched it out to a high street bank. Ebay working again
