New Acct for buying - later selling
 

Having mooched around this forum and read the stealth guide, I'm formulating a plan for a new account, but can someone check over this and see if I'm making any obvious errors? I want to get back onto eb for buying mainly and I know I can do guest, but I do bid on things and like to have a watchlist. I will probably look to sell down the line.

So I was going to do this:

• Login to PC as a new user - use Firefox (don't normally use this browser)
• Activate VPN (not decided on who yet)
• Create a new user using family members details (someone who lives in the same town, has never used ebay) Name/Addresss
• Phone number (use work mobile number - never used for Ebay)
• New email address. I have a domain, (I was going to create a new forwarding email address and forward to my existing email address I used with Ebay before - mistake? Better to create new Gmail?)

So questions:

• Payment method - I presume I can store CC details with Ebay? (I only ever used Paypal and sometimes Google Pay previously) - it it okay to store a new CC with MY details on it? Or is it better to use a new Paypal with the new CC and a new savings account bank account (Halifax/NatWest)?
  
• Address for delivery - can I use the one I used for my suspended acct? Or will I have to use family members name/address? Or is it better to have it sent somewhere for me to collect?

I was then going to use the VPN on my PC, but also split tunnelling on my mobile phone, so the Ebay app ALWAYS uses the VPN but everything else doesn't.

seems like you are only focused on buying, right? otherwise you will need to explore MP for selling.

for IP use, do you need a VPN? cant use home or mobile IP?

buying is best with paypal and without direct payment on ebay

but always keep in mind: ebay have the main restrictions in place after seller account has been created. so if you decide to start selling later your previous buying history does not guarantee you will not be suspended although it may help to get reinstated after initial suspension
