5 day payment hold
 

I've been on managed payments for a while with 2 of my real details accounts, untill one of my 2 accounts, got burned by mc011, probably too many cancellations.

The other on a different IP and computer account survived, however, it is now on a 5 day payment hold, probably due to a sales spike.

I realise the 2nd account is at risk, the problem is I have lots of items to send out, and lots of items listed on that account.

I'm a bit wary of sending the items out now, as I see so many threads of ebay just not releasing the money. Would you send the items out anyway, or slowly sell them on a different account with no payment holds?

5 day holds of each transaction or 5 days hold of payouts? Because 5 day payout holds usually is when they review bank info and this is not related to listings.
I never heard of 5 day payment hold - usually payment holds starts from 15 days and up.

They're MP holds, I'm not a new seller, so I'm not subject to new seller holds.

A perfunctory browse, will reveal, that indeed these 5 day holds exist. So I'm having my collar felt by ebay just as its most unwelcome.

I think the trigger was I sold 20 k last month, when It's usually been only my secondary business account.

MP 5 day holds do exist - if you items aren't problematic and subject to vero accusations, etc - you might as sell, ship, and wait for payments to clear

Here's the email I got...

Your payouts have been temporarily placed on hold while we review some details. Please allow up to 5 days for this review to take place.*

You'll be notified if we need further information. If there are no further concerns, your payouts will be unblocked.

This temporary block will not impact your regular operations (listings/selling).

It's a bit creepy the 'If' part

This is normal after a increase in sales, late deliveries, open cases

as an update, I actually got my funds in the early hours of the 6th day of the hold.

Had to wait an extra working day for the payout.

so actually a week

so relieved though!
