Real account - Verify your stakeholder details
 

Hi all

I'm using an account with a real persons details. It's a 9 year old top rated seller account.

Due to the amount of sales I make I was asked to verify my ID. No problem I sent a passport.

Then I was asked to verify my stakeholder details as it's a sole trader business ebay account. No problem I submitted the same information as before.

Now it's asking me to verify stakeholder details again but this time it won't accept the same information as before it's saying that "You haven't made any changes. Please review and fix the incorrect info on this page"

Any ideas what I should do?

I could change the details completely to my name and address and see if that works but then the stakeholder details won't match up with the account holder details.

Not sure what else I can do really as I have to change something in order to submit it.

Any advise would be appreciated as I only have a few days left until the deadline.

I just googled this and it seems some people had luck contacting support and asking for their help. Maybe I will try this unless any of you folk have a better idea.

My account isn't officially limited until the deadline comes up in a few days. Do I wait and see what happens or pro actively contact ebay support?

Some people did say that the problem disappeared on it's own after a while.

I didn't hear back from James I guess maybe no one knows what to do. Maybe I will try to contact live chat before it gets worse if that's even possible.

send them DL which shows your address , in the UK for UK citizens ebay would like to see the DL with address , passport should be used for foreign citizens if they can't provide DL

if you don't have a DL get a provisional one

Hi there I've already submitted different (real) details.

If I now submit my own then that's a huge mismatch.

There is no option to submit another ID they only want the name address and date of birth details I sent "corrected" so that they can verify them.

You sent in your passport and the name,DOB do not match?
Also if you are in UK and you are an UK citizen/resident,why passport?

then send DL for the details you already sent passport for , ebay want to see DL with address on it , passport is usually acceptable if the citizenship is not UK but for UK they want to see the DL

Thanks for your reply. I sent in a passport and it was accepted. There is no option to submit any more documents or change the documents. The only thing I am allowed to do is update the name, address or date of birth text. It rejected the previous name / address / date of birth and insists that different information should be provided (if I resubmit exactly the same it says it must be changed)

Thanks for your reply. I didn't use my details however they are a real persons details. Everything I submitted matched. I used this persons name, date of birth, address and passport.

The person I used is a UK citizen and the only ID I had available was a passport which was submitted and seems to have been accepted by ebay. What they haven't accepted is the name, address and date of birth I gave. They said this information is wrong and must be updated but they didn't tell me exactly what part they think is wrong.

if they tell you to update details this means you can upload ID again

it is not possible they accepted passport but rejected details on passport. they either accept or they do not

if they do not you can either upload again after updating details or you get suspended

It seems they accepted the passport and accepted the ID but then they asked for stakeholder details. It's the stakeholder details they have an issue with. There is no option to submit any documents it only wants me to correct the name / address or date of birth

when they ask for stakeholder details there is always an upload link in the bottom

Hi there I must be an usual case because as you can see from the full page screenshot below there is no upload link. The first time I submitted stakeholder details there was an image upload now but now that they want a correction of the information there is no longer an upload link option.

You recently updated some details for your stakeholders. Unfortunately, we couldn't verify all the details and still need your help.
Please update your stakeholder information by <date> to release your held payouts and avoid further restrictions.

in this case change details to your own , if old ones were rejected you should be able to use new ones
