| | | vrajabihari | 04-06-2023 11:25 AM | Where did I go wrong!? I have recently had my eBay sellers account suspended with a MC011 and I have been studying this guide and reading through the threads on this forum.
I have set up new bank accounts, bought multiple SIM cards, new email addresses, IPs etc and finally made the dive yesterday to attempt my first stealth account.
I thought everything was going well and I listed two items for sale today, two second hand jumpers with real photos.
AND boom, account suspended within an hour of listing them.
Here was my strategy, where did I go wrong?
- UK Residential IP address (from IP burger) accessed via Incognition
- Account holder name different to any other account held previously
- Address different to any account held previously
- New phone number
- New eMail address
- Bank account different to any held previously
Appreciate any help going. |

who is your ISP? |
| vrajabihari | 04-06-2023 01:56 PM | Re: Where did I go wrong!? Yeah I am using the same device and ISP is NowTV.
However I did all activity through Incognition browser using a Residential IP from IPburger.
What are your thoughts? |
Re: Where did I go wrong!? Welcome to the forum OP - all the best as you master stealth :thumb:
why did you access your IP via incognition? |
| degsey69 | 04-07-2023 11:46 AM | Re: Where did I go wrong!? In the UK they run a check on the name and address to see if it shows on any data base, therefore for the stealth account you need to have the name or a derivative of it and the address matching.
I would also dump the residential I P and use a mobile phone tether to your PC
Also create a sub account in windows of the name on the account account and use a chrome browser. |

why did you access your IP via incognition? | That is what I have understood to be the best method.
Would you reccomend something different? How would you access the IP?
Do you think that has something to do with the suspension? |

That is interesting about the address check, so they have access to UK house and householder databases?
And if they don't find something similar, terminate account?
Would that be solely enough to get the account banned?
Are Residential IPs flagged?
&&Out of interest, what difference does accessing via a different User account make in terms of what eBay can and can not see?
Thank you |

Residential I P’s in themselves are OK for certain uses, for instance companies doing website scrapes to get up to date prices of their competitors and that is why they were created.
EBay go beyond that, if an account is under investigation they will look at the provider of the IP address and if that provider is a known V P N company that account will be toast, that is why I recommend mobile phone as the internet source as you can change the I P address easily and as people use phones and tablets to access eBay the I P address provider is very credible, with the benefit that the area where the I P address is showing is nowhere near where the user is actually on their computer accessing eBay. |

So yeah I used my two of my wife's names, she has four, and used the address of the neighbours.
So with that flag, they run an IP check and can see my IP is registered at IP Burger. & ciao, right?
With mobile, do you need to purchase a mobile IP, or would you reccomend just running your phone as a hotspot?
Does eBay have any way of seeing that you are accessing via Incogntion? |

Instead of trying to create stealth accounts, it's essential to address the issue that led to the suspension in the first place. The MC011 suspension usually occurs when eBay detects some suspicious or unauthorized activity on the account, which can include policy violations, selling prohibited items, poor feedback, or irregularities in your selling behavior. | I think eBay's reasons for suspensions are completely random. I had accounts suspended where I sold absolutely legit items, like music CDs, clothes, or computer parts. And they told me I sold counterfiet items
eBay does this so that we would not know what actually triggered the system and learn how to circumvent it. |
Re: Where did I go wrong!? It's not completely random - there usually is a trigger somewhere. in your case of cd's, clothers, computer parts - somewhere you may have had bidders submitting complaints...or a competitor reporting you |

I remember trying to sign up for Google Cloud Platform on several of my accounts. By the end of the sign-up process there was a standard "we sent you a confirmation emal with a link" thing. When I opened the email there was the "click this link to confirm your emal", but it was not clickable!!! It was plain text - no html! I looked through the source code to see if I was missing something, but found no clickable links in the emal, no URLs. And it happened on several gmal accounts in a row. One would think a huge corporation like Google would know how to properly handle their sign-up process! They can find a needle in a haystack in terms of search results, but their email is a total failure??? I don't think so...
So big corps use such tactics to throw you off the track. They'd rather pretend to be dumb, make mistakes or be absolutely random. |
