First time stealther
 

Evening all,

Fairly new (past year to ebay) and have had some success selling my goods. Unfortunately whilst moving house I couldn't find some of my stock and had to refund a few orders. I spoke to most of the customers as well, I didn't realise what would happen. Anyway, this has resulted in a defect rate of 8%. Lesson learnt!

They've now stopped me promoting and most of my listings don't even show up. I have to improve by June, but that's impossible so I'm expecting a suspension at least. Either way I'm missing out on sales.

Do UK Stealth accounts still work as I've read a few different things. I'm fairly good on computers but don't wanna start trying stuff if it's not going to work.

Welcome to the forum.

I would not give up yet, if you can do auctions and not buy it now, that makes the listing more visible especially when you get closer to the end of the auction. Working with that account will be worth it.

Unfortunately nothing can be sold as an auction. I will need over 400 sales to get my defect rate back down so can't see how I'll ever sell enough. My items are fairly specific but sell well when visable.
