Have PayPal upped the ante?

I've just created a New paypal account. And I've added my vcc. I've also bought something from ebay. But when I go thou checkout I get a message telling me I need to be vertified to buy this item...even thou I just want to pay for it with my vcc. This is the frist time i've enouted this type of vertifcation when I just want to buy 1 item. Is this the Norm Now ?

I would recommend going all the way and completing every step to become verified with Paypal. Really make the effort.

A fully verified Paypal account will last the distance, a partly verified Paypal account WILL encounter some problems at some time.

And is it worth the risk?

Maybe ...But if you want to just buy something on ebay you have to wait 3 days....That's some BS .....
