Sounds like the identity confirmation process. If it is that then a request for ID and address proof will follow as part of the review.

Used a stealth date of birth and name when setting up Paypal account about 8 years ago. Used only for buying now.

Can you still photoshop documents and send? Its been a few years since I did this and imagine their systems of verification have improved.

Been using it for years just for buying from Screwfix, Deliveroo etc

I don’t know why they want the info I just don’t want them to link this one to all my dead PayPal accounts.

No it isnt.

All UK and EU accounts at some point are required to complete KYC irrespective of whether they buy or sell
