Registering for Managed payments
 

I am going to register for managed payments on a private account. I was suspended a few years back under my real address just after managed payments came in, but I want to have the option of submitting ID if I am asked for it.

If I register for managed payments using my real name and a different address will I still have the option of submitting my real ID or is that an automatic suspension if I then submit ID with the real address on? Or the other possibility is to use my real address but another name when I register for MP?? I don't know which of those is more viable but from reading on the forums it seems you can use a different name and the microdeposit will still go through.

Doesn't seem like an automatic suspension with your first method.

The issue with using a different name is the hassle if you get asked for ID verification...

Thanks. Your reply makes more sense than what I had read elsewhere on this forum. I had thought that the different address made more sense as I can come up with some other reason for using the other address. Now I will find out if a different address will trigger an ID request or not based on the credit check. :noidea:

If this is your first MP then I think it's worth it to try and make it under your real info.

My bet is it'll go through fine.
