Reactivate aftering adding a bank on aged account
 

Hi Everyone,

I have a question if you guys could help.

I have many aged accts which have not been login long time. (probably 2-3 years) When I login those accts, those previous limit gone, and I have to change the mobile number and add a new bank to make the acc be a seller account again that can sell items.
After buildling some days cookies and changing the mobile number, there are no issues, but after adding any bank including real bank, we got reactivate and the acc dead. Is there anyone know how to avoid reactivate please?

are all the accounts under your real name or all different names

do I understand correctly that you are talking about buyers accounts not registered on MP yet?

After couple days anyway they send your account is suspended.

do you receive any message from ebay or just the red banner?

How long do you wait to enter the new bank?
With these accounts, you generally have to call eBay and request reactivation, explain that after so many years of marriage your wife left you and took everything and now you want to continue selling, sometimes it works... but avoid entering a new bank before that

If these accounts have been dormant for long time,Ebay may thiink someone is hacking your accounts??

Not if OP has been building cookies over some days - though building cookies does involve bidding/browsing....have you been doing that OP?

Those bank accounts,have they been used in the past with suspended accounts?

If i add an unbanned bank to 2 ebay accounts.

will they survive?


im noticing that i think the ebay only goes down if the bank linked prior has been banned already

but if 2 are added simultaneously it might not necessarily get banned

It sounds like the platform you're using detects something is wrong when you add a bank account to these old accounts, triggering a reactivation process that ultimately fails.
