Accidentally adding a Bank account to paypal

I've just accidentally added the same bank account from my other stealth account on paypal. Would these now be linked ? even thou it was'nt added?

Maybe not if it's not confirmed yet.

Did you get an error saying it's already been added to another account? If you did, then they are linked. If one goes down, the other probably will to.

How far into the process did you get? What if any were the messages? Bit confusing your post

Yes I got an error saying it's already been added to another account. I take it it's linked then ?

I had the same thing happen as well about 2 months ago. The person who gave me their account number forgot to tell me they had already used the account with their current legit paypal account even though I told them I needed a new bank account....

This pp account I tried to add the bank acct to brought up the message saying this account is already attached to another account or something to that affect (like lakeman mentioned)

Well the stealth account that had the attempted account addition and failed eventually closed by paypal for another reason just recently and the legit account has not been touched and is selling legit items currently without any problems.


I think with this situation its going to be like the ip address thing. If only the ip addresses became a common denominator you should be fine....So if only these bank accounts were the linked denominator but everything else has no connection then you should be fine...

You should keep us updated though and let us know if they hassle either account.
