Moving abroad - can i continue selling?
 

My account is legit.
Im in ireland and my account is registered here.
I sell on .co.uk primarily and some on .com

Ill be moving to korea soon, i sell magic cards so I was going to bring some with me.
Will ebay have any problem with me accessing my account from there?
Should i get a friend i have there to log in to my account over there so that i can "confirm its me" if they ask me that?.
Or should I not do that and only access my account from a vpn when im there?


Ive already tested sending from there by having a friend there send some of the cards that sold, it was only 3 sales, but at least those buyers didnt complain about the cards coming from korea.
And didnt have any aditional problems with customs.

IS IT North or South Korea?
You should have no problem with S Korea .

I guess if you are moving, you are about to find out if you can or cant. Use a VPN and hope for the best. Your test run worked, so sounds like you might be okay. Good luck

I sold from Asia for a while without a VPN as I find VPN caused me a tonne of issues when I was creating accounts, but I had to have someone in the UK to look at my phones to read out the 2 step verification access numbers etc. Otherwise everything else was smooth.

if you just access the account from Korea, they'll flag your account.

I'd grab a residential IP for your location if I were you.

Or at least contact ebay that you're moving temporarily.

But yea, I'd just use a residential IP.... much less hassle.

I my my personal eBay account I was in several places and there were never any problems
