"Your funds will be available for payout 48 hours after we receive delivery confirmation"

Just received this email today after making a withdrawal from one of my private accs.

Funds reached my bank, this email came later on.

Is this a change across the platform as a whole, or has this account been targeted ?

Depends on your account,I never receive such email.
But it does take 2 days for Ebay to process the payment,amount is over $4k

I had that on a new account , is this account established? I mean selling history , stable turnover etc.

4 years old, stable sales.

I think I know exactly what it is ...

DPD haven't been making same day collections from my local drop shop unfortunately so their delays have triggered a closer look, so it's a performance hold.

Just read they hold for many reasons, but nothings changed at my end other than that little detail.

sometimes it is the buyer,not the seller,common reason will be his credit card,could be a foreign one or issued by a small bank,credit union,sometimes the site is down!!
With Paypal.it could be the buyer is a trouble maker !

You're right. It must be the buyer that caused my account to get payment holds.

It's hard to say for sure based on just this email. It could be a new policy across the whole platform, or it could be something specific to your account. You should contact the platform's customer support to ask if this is a new general policy or if there's a reason why your account is subject to this delay.

48 hours after delivery confirmation is not 'unreasonable',the buyer is given 2 days to review his purchase,he may not be home when item is delivered or he has to go and pick up the item.
