GPSR compliance anyone?

GPSR compliance is needed. How are others here dealing with this? What is the worst case scenario? Remove EU countries from being able to by my items? Cheers in advance!

you may be blocked from selling to NI and EU

but this could be corrected by manually editing products , at least those that sell to those markets

Re: GPSR compliance anyone?

I don't ship to the EU, but when I first heard about GPSR I checked how many sales I was actually making to NI, it was about 1% and they caused more than 1% of problems with late/slow delivery.

Was easier to stop shipping to NI than bother with GPSR requirements

Thanks for the replies. As far as I can tell, all items going to EU will need this. My items are impossible to provide this data for due to their age/unknown/no longer existing original makers. Hopefully ebay will make this easy and offer an opt out box on ads. We can only hope! Or will they just cut all sales to EU?

GPSR compliance (General Product Safety Regulation) involves making sure your products are safe and meet EU standards.

How others deal with it: Companies often hire consultants to help understand and meet the requirements. They also carefully test their products and create detailed documentation.

Worst case scenario: If you don't comply, you could face fines, be forced to recall your products, or even be banned from selling in the EU.

Removing EU countries: Yes, not complying could mean you have to stop selling to customers in the EU.
