Stealth acccount issue
 

Hi Guys

First and foremost im not here to expose one seller or praise the other seller, just here to make sense of this situation.

Genuine query, something that has happened to me just last week.
I bought 2 stealth accounts from 2 different sellers. I did exactly similar on both accounts, low listing auctions, browsing just taking my sweet time. Built 3 and 4 feedbacks on both accounts. Sold items of low value on both accounts. Now both got "PUT ON HOLD" as i was unable to update the BANK Details on both accounts.

I got around to doing it and first stealth account got unrestricted once banking information confirmed. 2nd Stealth account which advised to use Stealth Ip so was running on IPBURGER when trying to add bank details it wouldnt let me do it. Spoke to Customer via chat and they said wihout disclosing the reason they will permanently restrict that account. Now keep in mind this account is also pre verified with ID's so just needed banking information like the other one. Spoke to Seller and he stated its due to not adding banking information on time, but that does make any sense as the 2nd stealth account had same issue and is still running.

Please advise if anyone elses account has been banned due to not providing initial bank account ON TIME. I find it hard to believe this is the reason why.

Sadly i'd point my finger to the VPN. I had issues using VPN despite what they say. Why not just tether off a pay monthly sim card ? that always worked for me.

these sellers dont know anything, they just predict and sell you needy items

More likely reasons for the permanent restriction include:

- IP Address Issues: Using IPBurger (or any proxy/VPN) doesn't guarantee you're truly "stealthed." eBay might have detected something suspicious about your IP address or pattern of use that raised red flags.

- Mismatch in Information: Even with "pre-verified" accounts, discrepancies between the ID information, your activity, and the bank details you tried to add could have triggered a ban.

- Other Stealth Account Red Flags: eBay's algorithms are very good at detecting stealth accounts. Even small things like the way you browsed, listed items, or interacted with other accounts could have revealed the account as being "⊗⊗⊗⊗".

Basically, it's probably not 'just' the delay in adding bank info. There was likely something else that triggered eBay's security measures.
