When producing ID/Personal Information for stealth
 

When setting up an account for eBay, does the personal information and ID need to be in a real person's name, or can you still use random details? I remember it used to be possible to create stealth accounts with any name and address, but it's been a while since I’ve done that, so I'm just checking if anything has changed.

It is possible to create the account in any name.

However if you don't use real information your account will be suspended once they ask for ID after about £1,000 as they run a soft credit check.

eBay UK Stealth accounts are no longer sold as its near impossible to create them that will last. Anyone who tells you otherwise is telling fibs.

Oh wow, that's good to know. Kind of sad though. I guess manual stealth creation is the only way to go now?

Not in the UK, no. There is no way to go other than legitimate details. It's over.

I need a new stealth account where can i find this discussion i tried its hard to find

Is its true that i can use a stealth name and adress ,,but add my real bank account and CARD so long as its not been used on ebay before to receive money ??

When you say browse the site its not that easy it can take hours to find the subject ,i cant find wat iv been looking for ,plus after a couple of years i forgot where these discussion are

Im 65 i forget ,its very hard to find answers after 2 years iv not really used this site much in recent times

I'm not having a go at you, just to be clear - it seems much harder to create UK stealth accounts based on prior posts and discussions.
