When are they asking for NINO on new account?
 

Does anyone have experience how much time do you have with a new account once you hit 30 items/1700GBP threshold until eBay asks for NINO, and from that point how long until restriction hits up?

I've seen it being needed on registration now. I started a new genuine one last week and it asked for it, I am not sure if it could be left blank or not.

Normally you will be requested immediately now after that amount is reached if not already, and at the moment, its around two months, give or take until the deadline date. At first they dont give a deadline, then after three reminders you get a deadline date.

I’ve got a few accounts across different houses and family members coming close to this value.

I don’t think they’d feel comfortable with their N.I inputted with the new tax laws.

Any tricks that are still somewhat legal you guys have employed? I’ve heard people using the same one over and over.

Theres no tricks, you roll the dice, as no one knows what will happen.

Use an NI generator and hope for the best.

eBay doesn't have a set time. Some people get asked for their NINO soon after hitting the threshold, while others might not. Once eBay asks for your NINO, the restriction could happen quickly if you don't provide it or if there are issues verifying the information. It varies.
