Surprised I can't see a thread on here about this already.

On my new accounts you no longer have control over what is charged for postage and can only select RM or EVRI, what a total joke.

It seems it's impossible to get out of.

It's actually a really good process, currently. I had a few parcels go astray and eBay dealt with everything and removed the feedback in a couple of days.

At first i hated it, but if they continue like this (they probably wont), then its a bonus because if you've ever encountered the laborious task of getting compensation from the likes of Royal Mail for missing parcels this is super easy...some may say simple.

Whats your beef with it?

i have a package thats gone missing ebay are dealing with it,
but what happends
1,do i keep the payment
2,do i have to send replacment

not sure how it works.

a bit disapointed that i canot choose first class post for letters and packages,

Normally, for a missing item, the buyer opens item not arrived case, eBay then refund buyer out of their coffers (probably after a short wait period), and you will keep the payment, any feedback is removed.

I prefer everything to be tracked so never used standard postal services, only Tracked24/48/SD or a courier.

I also prefer using RM T24/T48, however on my new accounts I can still use custom postage to specifically offer T24/T48 or whatever postage provider I wish.

Although simple postage actually seems quite useful, since it's all integrated within ebay.

It sounds like you're frustrated because on your new selling accounts, you can't set your own postage prices. You're limited to using only Royal Mail (RM) or Evri, and you feel like this is unfair and restrictive.
