Primary Delivery Address name change question
 

Hello All

I’ll be leaving my company soon and will lose access to their post room for my ebay purchases. I have used their post room for many years, for convenience and safe keeping of received and signed-for packages.

However, a colleague of mine who will still be working at the company has said to just change my delivery address ‘name’ to his name. He can then collect from the post room, take them home, where I can then collect from him later.

Will changing my Primary Delivery Address ‘name’ to my colleague’s name, create any ebay/paypal red flags? The physical address will stay exactly the same e.g., Number, Street, Town, Postcode.

Changing the name could trip security flags...but the registration info name stays the same?

Oh wait, it's just for buying right? Not related to a seller account? If so, eb is known to be a bit more lenient with just buying activity.

Delivery address for purchases....just change the name and address to whatever you want, eBay don't care.

I've a buyer account where the delivery address is never the same, there must be over a hundred listed by now.

• Yes, it’s a strictly ‘Buying Only’ account for ebay purchases only – has never been used for selling.
• Yes, the registration info name stays exactly the same.

Looks like I should be safe to proceed with this delivery name change without any red flags.

Yeah. I can confirm, you can set your delivery address to whatever you want. I have a couple of guys who send me dropship orders on ebay.. just changing their delivery address for each order. They don't care.

Thanks for clarifying - yes buying only, shipping to info changes = no big issues
