How can you sell on Ebay.com or Aus ebay, if you are based in UK

It's not something that you sell worldwide but it's something like you are in UK but you sell on ebay.com or australia.

Let me give you some examples.

1 seller "invest_asap"

EBAY BUSINESS EVERYTHING IN MY SHOP + RESELL RIGHTS DVD - eBay (item 180448966178 end time Jan-01-10 06:13:58 PST)

He is in UK but he sells on ebay.com. He sells to worldwide but mainly to US.

2 seller "greggl79"

Law Of Nines - Terry Goodkind BRAND NEW FREE P&H on eBay (end time 08-Jan-10 20:24:10 GMT)

He is in UK but he sells his items mainly on Australia ebay. Most buyers are from Australia.



Do you know how to do this. I want to do it too.
If you are in UK but having ebay.com. I assume that you must have US bank account for paypal. Am I right?

Just list on the site you wish to sell on....

You can list on .com and .com.au with a UK account.

It is that simple. BUT: because you are shipping overseas carefully detail your return policies, postage costs AND make sure that any item goes with tracking. This is where troubles start later. Make sure you are really aware of potential problems before they happen.
In the listing describe the item fully. Don't assume the buyer knows what they are buying. With international sales, this is most important.

how to sell on german ebay .de I try to sell there but asap I update my account to business account it doesn't allow me it said me I have to show my business address on my listing which I did but it never allow me to submit listing always said me on the first page of listing submition that there is an error your return policy which I already put there so confused :(

Yes i did that all my address are now showing in my every listing including my VAT number. but still it gives me same error? every thing was ok until I didn't upgrade my ebay account to business account :( I am so worried as I was selling too much on .de and now nothing :(

Do I need to have germany business address but I saw many UK seller do sell on ebay.de while they are in UK

you can sell the items in usa,au,singore or other region ebay website,a lot of people have done like this.

I logged onto ebay.com usa to sell an item but it insists i choose shipping within the U.S.A. it wont let me skip it and show P+P from Uk. How do i get around this?

Hi i used to sell on both of these sites with aus quite a hit what i used to do before paypal screwed me was use inkfrog and they give you the pre set countries you choose which site germany usa australia ect ect
I would say beware of the currency changes what it says on ebay is incorrect buy the time it hits your paypal it's less than it should be just hit on a few listings when they show in 2x currency you will see also Paypal will scam you like crazy you will lose about an extra 5-8% by what i can rememember on top of you 3.4% or 2.9% paypal fee have a real look into this 1st you can also set up a store in aus/us also but i would 100% get a few more accounts buy the guide and speak to people on hear don't ignore it it will happen PAYPAL HAVE CRUSHED ME BUT I WILL BE BACK!!

Ok, I would like feedback on this issue please.

With regard to DSR ratings. I heard yesterday that "non" local DSR ratings do not affect the overall total.

IE, so all the DSR's you get from buyers in your country are added to the overall DSR rating whereas it is alleged that buyers ratings from other countries do not count.

Is this the case? Because if it is then there would be a very good case for registering in another country to sell products, OR by offering the products primarily outside of the country you reside in.

Can anyone clarify that there is any truth to this at all.
