Paypal - Not receiving instant payments anymore

Hi there

I'm a seller on Ebay UK and I have recently stopped receiving instant payments, instead I have to ship the item first and when they leave positive feedback, or 21 days has passed, then I get paid.

I think this is due to the fact that I have had some low marks for disparch time recently. This is pretty terrible, as I quite often list an item for sale, then buy it once I recieve the cash

I have no idea when my Paypal account will be returned to normal, and as you can imagine, calling them was a waste of time.

So, I want to create a new Ebay and Paypal account. My questions are:

1. If I register a new Paypal account and link a new credit card to it, won't Paypal realised there is already a credit card linked to my name at my address?

2. Do I need to go through the process of changing my IP address, or is that for people who have been suspended?.

3. When I register with Ebay and Paypal what address shall I use?, surely If i use same once they will realise?

Any help much appreciated, i'm losing alot of money right now.

S

This is the reason I think I have been limited

Dispatch time 3.83 7.63% (10)

I have also had some 'item not received disputes' recently

read the forum, if you want a seperate account that will not go down when your current one does, you must not have any links to your old details - nothing, inc ip..

Creating a new account will not solve the problem.
Payments on every new account get held for 21 days now.
Your only option to avoid this is to either have over 100 feedbacks or have at least 20 Detailed Feedbacks from buyers. Its detailed on ebay and on paypal - I suggest you read up on it.
To answer your questions - EVERYTHING needs to be different. Dont use a credit card associated with the same address because theyll link the 2 accounts. Plenty of other prepaid cards you can use for that purpose (read up on it on other threads). DEFINITELY change your IP. As for address try using a friend's address or a family member. You dont have multiple accounts so it shouldnt be too difficult to find someone to allow you to use their address - make sure they dont have an ebay account because if this new account of yours gets suspended theirs will most likely be linked to it and suspended as well.

Thanks for your reply. Well I actually have a feedback score of around 300, so if what you say is correct, then this shouldn't be happening to me should it?

I think setting up a new Ebay/Paypal account might not help me in the short term, but I thinks its good to start this new should this happen sometime in the future.

I'm pretty angry that they have limited my acccount, but given no indication WHY, and no clear indication of what I must do to get it back to normal. I saw something in Ebay saying that my Dispatch time ratings must not be more than 4% and it is currently 7%. So I suppose I have to sell lots more items and post quick to get this percentage down, I think I mgiht just try selling lots of very small things for no profit just to achive this

Hi you have answered your own question.... Your Dispatch DSR is well below the required standard and if you don't get it up quick you will likely get a selling restriction (you may already have one as your DSR has dropped below 4).

It's all in the PP/Ebay TOS and your accounts will indeed return to normal once you raise it back up.

It is always worth getting items dispatched as quickly as possible. Next day is always possible. With ebay the way it is now, its just too much hassle Not to do so.

their are a few simple ways around both the 21 day hold issue and the feedback issue. works for me a good 75% of the time and i get my funds right away. pm me if anyone would like to know. depending on who you are i might share with you. as there are alot of pompous people on here. slokor was correct though, creating new accounts wont solve the problem. issue is the dsr and feedback score, but again their are ways around the 21 day hold that most people dont know.
