My personal account has been banned, will my business also be banned?
 

Hi :)

My personal ebay and paypal account have been suspended under my name and address

My business ebay and paypal account is under my business name with me listed on the accounts


Will this also be banned? ive not yet started trading under this account and dont want to loose it.. is there anyway i can prevent this?

Sorry to tell you this Rob but those accounts are pretty much buggered mate.

Unless you have the option to appeal the ban on both ebay and Paypal.

If they are permanently banned you will have to set up a new ebay and PP account.

You wont be able to use those same initial details ever again. They hold records and will remember them forever. I did a test on an account I lost 5 years ago, when I registered it was suspended within 24 hours.

The other one survived a week, I guess they do periodical scans and root out accounts.

Anyway sorry to be the bearer of bad news but thats it. Has to be New details.

is there no way i can save these accounts by changing name/address etc? they have been on ebay 4months now, but not been used

the business paypal, is it same address as banned one? If so, it probably will go down, but small chance it wont...

changing address doesnt help, I dont think....save any fresh addresses for a new paypal...

and before you start trading again, read forum, preferably stealth book and iron out reason why you were banned, or it will happen again

yes it is the same address, i just dont want to loose these accounts as it is my genuine business accounts

your business will not be banned,you can use another address or your family name to do business as well.

its currently in my address and business now.. but me as the contact person for the company.. is it possible to change this or will i get flagged/banned?

no point changing what is already on there now - it is a matter of record and a change will just be an extra flag

define the suspension(s):

Which came first? ebay then paypal or paypal then ebay?:ranger:

paypal and then ebay afew weeks later

if your persoanl account was banned due to unpaid item the it will not effect your business account until you have done something wrong with your business acc. if your personal account was susspended if you start selling from it as well and reached the limit or they have noticed it that you doing business on your personal account then there is chance that you business paypal and ebay accounts will flag too.

Just for now on don't use your business account from same IP and from same PC where you used your personal account

get one new account and then sell the cheaper items and get more feedback and then your ebay business alive again.

I've never had problems with banned addresses since 2001. Same name, same address, just different IP, phone number, credit cards, cookies.
