opened 2nd ebay a/c to 1 paypal, with wrong phone number, how do i change it?
 

i opened up a 2nd ebay a/c which i will use for

2 ebay to 1 paypal

only after making the 2nd ebay a/c, i realised i made a mistake with the phone number, so i logged into the ebay2 a/c to try to change the phone number, so it matches the ebay1 a/c, but i cannot for the life of me find the option to change phone number, its not under personal information or do i edit the address and that will allow me to change the phone number?

The first thing is I would not link that account to your paypal account. It dose not look good when you change your phone number. Also remember even if you change the phone number eBay still has it on file.

WOW I tried to look for you on where to change it and I don't see it anymore. It was under Home > My eBay > My Account > Personal Information

Try to go there can do a change address and see when you long back in if you can change you phone number there.

Also you may could do the phone number Telephone PIN thing at the same location and when it says is this your phone # you would like to us to call. Tell them not and they may let you change it this way. It also could be because your account is new and I don't think they will let you change any info until 30 days. I may self don't have an account this old to make sure.

i've not linked ebay2 to paypal 1, just managed to put the phone number as

1234 123456

instead of

01234 123456

basically i've missed the zero in the phone number at the start, because ebay wouldnt let me use the same number when registering for ebay2, which is strange, thats why i missed the zero in front and it accepted it:shocked:

edit your address should allow you to edit your phone number, other wise give ebay a ring if you are worried
