Withdrawing from stealth account - Risky? consequences if bank account gets rejected?

Hey guys, I have had some horrible luck as of late & had a bunch of my paypal accounts limited for various reasons.

Now I currently have a stealth account with £750 in funds. This account is not verified with a bank account. I have never added a bank account to a stealth pp account so a little nervous after already losing almost 2k last week with funds limited.

So I was hoping people can just confirm im doing the right thing. My immediate plan was to list items on my fully verified account & buy using the stealth account as a way of transferring the funds over. But my fully verified account is limited at the moment but I did no wrong doing so hopefully I will get that up & running shortly but its taking longer than anticipated.

So im eager to get my hands on the funds in my stealth account so contemplating adding a bank account which I have never used before. The name/address doesnt make a difference right? the card im about to use is a barclay's cash card & it accepts direct debits so it should work right?

Any help/pointers would be great, but the main question here is if I try to add that bank account & it gets rejected, is there ANY chance of being limited because of this? I want the safest possible route to withdraw this money. Thanks in advance :) Chico

the new bank account usually wont get rejected, no reason for that to happen......

are you thinking of buying from yourself, do you mean? I wouldnt transfer money from the unverified account to the limited verified account, plus it is unwise in any case to create a link by doing any transfers, especially when one is limited, you dont know the outcome of limitation yet....

you should sort out limitation issues on the first account

you should verify the second account and withdraw that way

If i buy a verified ebay and paypal stealth account from this forum, would i still need to add my personal bank account details to paypal to withdraw money or can i withdraw money onto a vcc? still little confused

oompaloompa 05-26-2010 11:49 AM

yes, the ones you buy are buyer accounts, you need to convert to seller yourself, eg add bank,

you cannot withdraw to vcc, apart from on a few country sites, not UK anyway

Thanks for the response oompa, yeah I suppose I didnt make things very clear sorry.

Ok so I have £750 in unverified account. I have a lot of unverified pp accounts, so its usually a case of whenever I get funds in my unverified accounts, I send them to my main (verified) account to withdraw. But yeah my main account is currently limited (probably because they are wondering why people keep sending me money (myself). So I was going to ask a friend to create an item & will get funds sent to him so he can withdraw the money for me. So I dont intend on sending to a limited account.

But because I have never verified a stealth account, I was just looking for reassurance that if paypal declined me adding my new bank account, would that be a reason to limit me? So they wouldent question why my bank details (name/address) are TOTALLY different from my stealth pp details? I shall spend the next few hours browsing these forums for more answers but if someone can also shed some light then that would be greatly appreciated also. Thanks again. Chico

no it wouldnt be a reason to limit you due to bank rejection...are you referring to if the names dont match? well its normally ok, bank normally accepts it, think HSBC and lloyds have been reported as problematic by forumers,

if bank didnt accept dd mandate for that reason, they wouldnt report it to paypal anyway..

Thanks for the help oompa, its much appreciated. I have gone ahead & added my new bank account so just waiting upon the small deposits they place.

Just curious to know oompa, do you have a set of rules that you follow when withdrawing money? a certain ammount/limit you withdraw at once? sometimes split large amounts of funds up by transferring to your other verified accounts? wait a few days after receiving payment & adding tracking info before you withdraw etc?

many thanks again. Chico

yes when accounts are new always under £100 a time, and once they are over 3 months under £200 and so on...

Interesting...First, Where these payments from VERO items? And during what time period did you receive all this money?
