Hi

I'm opening some bank accounts today. Already opened one with Santander, a basic account. I was wondering if there are any other banks confirmed good fo rstealth, apart from the ones mentioned in the book?. Has anyone used Lloyds, Halifax, or Britannia before?

Not sure which ones are listed in the book. But i can confirm that these will work

Co-Operative
Smile
Bank Of Ireland
Santander
Alliance and Leicester

More of less all of the banks will work but i hear to stay away from Lloyds tsd and ING direct

Great thanks. I just created a Santander account today. I phoned them up and they said that if I wanted to open further accounts, I would need to do this at the branch, do you know if this is correct?

It can be done online if you already have access to their online banking, i know because i did it & have two santanders now.
