rival leaving neg feedback
 

someone i presume a jealous rival has been bidding on my auctions and left 2 negatives under different names, these are small items i use to build my feedback so they paid for them, how can i get these feedback removed as they were left immedately after auction ended and obviously i didnt posty item

I would let eBay know as quicly as possible. Make sure that you point out to them that it woul be impossible for the buyer to be dissatisfied since he could not possibly have received the item yet. Some members have successfully had feedback removed.

But don't count on it. eBay (as we all know) doesn't always do the right thing.

im sorry to say it but if i were you i would forget about it and move on!! I used to get so stressed if i got a neg. I have had issues with negs and tried to kick up a fuss with ebay but i think all it did was get ebay to look at my account closer and they ended up banning my account not the arse that tried to sting me??

better to have a neg and a live account than no account at all...

if you let ebay know and let them know that it was never posted and the buyer never even got the item...then i think youre fine..
did the buyer pay for the item? if so then this might be a problem.

What was the comment the buyer left please?

if they didn't pay, try contacting ebay but i doubt it would help.

I did something to that effect and it was removed straight away but so was mine :D

you could try option one but from plenty of personal experience it never works, weather they paid or not .

they did not pay for 1 item got feedback removed, other they did pay they did not remove grr

I had same problem with a competitor a few years ago, Would buy stuff from me and would leave negative feedback like a few minutes after, I actually did complaint to Ebay showing that the person left negative feedback even before I could ship the item. This guy would do it from like 2-3 different accounts. Whatcha gonna do, roll with the punches.

You should have contributed to the thread a few years ago, when it was last active. :p

@marysman78, eb ay did nothing even when you showed that feedback was left BEFORE shipping?

Also, you could make your own new thread for this to increase visibility =)

if they leave neg straight away and do not wait to receive goods, contact ebay or livehelp, they may remove it...

@Ebayorbust's, I would of loved too, I just joined not that long ago, lol.

@rsot, I contacted Ebay and yeah, every time this guy left neg feedback they would take it off, The guy I chatted with from Ebay even said, "This guy has it in for you", no kidding!

Ever since I stopped selling that type of items, I've never had any negative feedback really, I think I once got a neutral but that's it.

Now if I could get the current customers to leave feedback Id love that, but that's another thread.

I got a negative feedback from a guy who never even paid for the item, plus he ignored all my requests for payment, and then weeks later I logged in and saw he had left negative feedback. Ebay didnt want to know.

If you opened up an unpaid item dispute, they would have removed it immediately!

and to answer the post, this NEVER happend to me, but if i did, their account would be gone, i would leave about 61825462857174517 Negative feedbacks, just for the hell of it lol

exactly be proactive, open an unpaid, sometimes they will reply and dispute other times they wont and you win...and also if the neg is straight after sale, you can get it removed, I have done so...
