Paypal holding random payments, for 21days
 

Hi everyone,

does anyone know how long this is gonna last for? they keep holding full payments from my ebay shop for 21days until i get a positive feedback from the ones they are holding!!!

i am a new shop owner with 34 positive feedbacks, followed the stealth book and been open for over 2months now and 3 weeks trading.

its really annoying as alot of people dont leave feedback so does this mean my money will be on hold forever? i have never heard of this before but as more sales are going through, the more they are taking :faint:

good on feedbacks you just need more months on ebay, they will lessen to nothing or practically nothing, it happened for me...I dont get them anymore at all....

if your items are shipped out and you have tracking numbers for them, in put the tracking details next to the order on paypal, this way if your customer doesnt leave you feedback, paypal can release the funds 3 days after they have confirmed shipment. (or you can contact them and tell em the item has been delivered)

As oompa has stated, you have to be patient for your account to build value. 21 days is nothing...unless you are trying to rip people off (which you don't seem to be doing =) ).

They still release 24 hour after positve feedback. They used to release 3 days after delivery confirmation, but now more like 7 business days.

Once your accounts are aged, say 6-8 months, your holds will be little to none at all. Key is to have accounts "in the oven."

To have accounts "in the oven" sitting and aging, do they have to be linked to a paypal?

No, you just need to have the ebay account created. I don't created the cooresponding paypal account until I'm ready to use it.

Keep things slow for a while and above all be patient with it. Payment holding is common on new accounts.

i got this today for my account over 3 months old, over 100 feedback and no disputes on file, what the f are they playing at

All feedback is seller based? You have over 20 DSRs?

yes all seller, i wasnt even using that account

there is a really simple way round this 21 day hold, for u.k sellers, well it works for me, i have tested it on 3 account this last week ad i did the same thing at different stage to make sure and it really works , I'm not about to post it here but if you do what to know you know where i am PM
