| | | imprezawrx | 08-14-2010 02:37 AM | using a friends details??? ok i got suspended from ebay becos of VERO. i'm now using a friends details to sell ther same stuff. i've read the stealth guide but i'm still very confused by it all. i can keep on using my m8s ebay acc but i really want to set up my own accounts but like i said earlier, very confused with the bank acc, ur address, etc. i've got to the setting up of new user account son my comp but i've found this automatically changes ip addy on each user account when i log into the internet. do i still need to change ip addy for each diff acc?
p.s. i have a entropay card also
i have a pre paid card but with my real details on. how do i register this with paypal & ebay along with diff address, bank details, etc. sorry but very confused by it all. |
| oompaloompa | 08-14-2010 06:52 AM | I do not suggest you sell in the same manner on your friends account as you did on you own banned account, or you will burn them..
if you have read book you should have all that basic info, but I suggest you re-read and make your own accounts, add your own bank and cards, you can add a card without changing adddress details sometimes, but if you can amend it under account settings it is preferable, make sure you do not create any PC links, and most importantly, start slow and do not sell vero in large quantaties unless you have researched whether or not you would get a high take-down rate and therefore get banned eventually, some vero is not worth touching, especially not on a new account... |
| imprezawrx | 08-14-2010 07:38 AM | cheers for that m8. he knows he could get banned. i've opened a paypal & ebay acc for him on his own pc with all correct details (his) inc addy, bank, card, etc. all above board. i will start slow as i think thats the reason i got banned having about 20 auctions on at the same time.
just got another phone number from voipfone but it states its a 056 number & not one from my local area. is that ok & when ebay ring will it ring this line & be re-directed to my landline?
can i use the entropay card i mentioned above to register with ebay & paypal & link it to new bank acc i'm about to open, cheers
p.s. when i open a new user account on my comp it changes ip address. is this ok or do i need to look into it more |
| turbo | 08-14-2010 10:05 AM | It doesnt matter whether you are selling slow or not, whether you are selling one item a month or 50 items... its still not a good idea to use a friends account.
if anything goes tits up, you will not only be landing yourself in the ****, but your friend too..
re-read stealth book and start using your own stealth account, it will be better in the long run,. |
| imprezawrx | 08-14-2010 12:48 PM | yes m8 i know it will. i've read this now 3 times & i can't get round the fact on how to link my new bank account with an address that doesn't link to it. |

There is no advantage to using a friends info. None.
There are a lot of reasons why not to. Lots
Using friends info will not make a stronger account then one you make stealth
The only thing that would make his info stronger is to use his SS number. And that's down right an AWFUL idea!
You can maybe use his address to help have a controllable address, sure. Other than that. Bad bad idea.
If you like this person, even a little, wrap your head around what you are about to do to them!
EDIT: I will add some tough love here and I will be blunt: If you are not creative enough to make some info up, and if you do not yet fully understand the stealth system to a point where you can make it work, dragging a friend into this is a good idea to you why? |
| jeffweico | 08-14-2010 01:56 PM | Agree with Pod 100% NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE SOMEONE ELSE'S INFORMATION!
Legitimate products or not, you are asking for trouble here.
Just search the forums to see what I mean.
The nice thing is, with stealth, you don't have to do this! |

Lots to deal with already, adding stress over what you may have done to a friend is just not worth it to sell some crap on eBay. |

If you are not completely sure of the methods involved with the stealth book, then read it again until you are...
Its not overly complicated, but some people need to read it more than once.. |
I wonder what are friends for if not in times like these. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:33 AM. | |
